HISTORY
So far, four national teams have held the No. 1 position on the FIFA Women’s World Ranking: the United States, Germany, Spain, and Sweden. The United States has been the most successful, spending a total of 6,070 days at the top — more than 4,000 days ahead of their closest rival, Germany.
The current FIFA Women’s World Ranking includes 196 member nations.
