Mirko Ivanić’s arrival coincided with Red Star Belgrade’s return to the biggest European stage. Since 2019, when he first put on the red-and-white jersey, he has become a quiet leader on the pitch. A legend after whom Red Star’s stadium is named today. He led the club to its first titles and was a symbol of sportsmanship and fair play. With Red Star, he won six league titles and five domestic cups.

“El Magiko” became a true fans’ favorite during his two spells with the club (2014–16 and from 2020 to today). He paid back the “Delije” supporters in the best possible way – with goals. So far, he has scored 150 and shows no signs of stopping. He is also the all-time top scorer in Serbian SuperLiga history.
