HISTORY
So far, four national teams have at some point been in the number 1 position on the FIBA world rankings, namely: Serbia (in the period from 2002 to 2006 under the name Serbia and Montenegro), Argentina (from 2006 to 2011 ), Spain (in 2022) and the current leader, the USA national team, which has been in the first position for the longest time on several occasions.
